Without any costly marketingHow do you increase sales and volume in a korean based cosmetic company that has just been introduced to USA?
Use Korean connection assuming Korean based company is already selling the product in Korea and well known. Use local community, ask some of Korean stores for marketing. That would be good start without spending so much money. After wards, you may consider expanding to wider US market. The key is make some money now than nothing.How do you increase sales and volume in a korean based cosmetic company that has just been introduced to USA?
If you do not intend on spending money you will not make money. If you have the product you can utilize it as the marketing ';gimmick'; and give enough of it away until you get product recognition. Marketing, commercials, ads etc will do this much more efficiently. You can also get companies to endorse the product by giving it them to try on their customers and then offer it as sales in the future. Trying to break into the market with no fund8ing for marketing is a daunting task.

Nail polish remover RUINED my plastic lid of one of my cosmetics. Is it possible to restore it?

I am not sharing my nail polish or cosmetics with my mom.?
Most of my stuff (other than the foundation and makeup remover) were all obtained by me, my father, family friend or my own friends. My mom has NEVER bought me makeup other than the time when she bought me some ';starter kit'; which she now owns. Why should I lend my makeup and nail polish to her when it completely belongs to me? She has never worn makeup or nail polish until I had bought them or gotten them myself. I am so pissed off that I have to actually SHARE what I got myself with my mom. they CAN its just most mens opinion not to wear it and whoever down there said that nail polish was originally made for men it wasnt. i forget where weather is was japan or egypt but in early times it was made for men and they wore it as a symbol of power in that particular householdWhy cant men use cosmetics and nail polish?

The problem with all the 'makeup for men' features on TV is that they try to put lots of foundation on dudes and that doesn't even look good on women, and they also try to put it on super-butch dudes rather than more normal-looking men.
Basically, what works for Johnny Depp won't necessarily work for David Beckham (for example). I'm all for encouraging men to play around with makeup though!

n.y.c color has really bright color nail polishes. but when you apply, make it 2 coats cuz the coats are really thin.

The lip gloss wand has great colors, I personally love the color Lush, but I have dark skin tones. I am thinking about buying Bee Luscious Cosmetics but I have a few questions first. I am thinking about getting the mineral liquid foundation and mineral compressed powder as well as the finishing poweder. How big is the product, does it come with a lot? Also, if I was to buy compressed powder at a store it would usually come with an applicator. I was looking into changing my current make-up routine, and I used to Bare Minerals, but I keep having trouble covering acne. I have heard wonderful things about Bee Luscious Cosmetics, and about half a dozen other ones to though. The Bee Luscious Cosmetics look fantastic and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this product. Did you like it? What is your favorite product? I think the other answer is mistaking the product, I have been using Bee Luscious Cosmetics for 9 months now and THEY ARE FABULOUS NEVER OILY , The foundation goes on light and smooth then drys to a powdery soft finish, I would never use any other product after using bee luscious, I also highly recommend and love their safari bronzer in Congo and the LipTox, as for skin care the Papaya Enzyme line is the way to go AWESOME RESULTS. And I have used throughout the years Dior, Chanel and many other brands, Cover girl and drug store products are cheap and have tons of fillers that dry your skin and clog your pores. Train must be confused with another brand. I have used Bee-Luscious for over a year and have tried almost everything they carry (have not tried the health products). I am also, unfortunate for me, an avid label reader and nothing in their line contains oils.
The two brands she does like are both drugstore brands?! There is NO comparison between Bee-Luscious and drugstore make-up. I find this puzzling to say the least. That is why I have come to the conclusion she is thinking of another brand.
Now if you like your foundation to give you that ';caked on'; look then I would not recommend Bee-Luscious foundation because it gives you a totally natural look. If you are looking for spa quality make-up at a reasonable price then Bee-Luscious is the way to go.
Their foundation is not a cover up so it may not cover your acne but they do have an acne line that I have read (on Yahoo) is also very effective. Good luck to you!

Im thinking about getting their bronzer since someone just suggested i get some instead of the list that i posted. and i was wondering if it was worth it and if it came off easily when you sweat or if it just plain comes off easily no matter what. cuz what i can see is that it is natural stuff, am i right? or the mineral makeup? I was not impressed with the i.d. BareMinerals makeup. i pretty much dislike it alot. i have to mix it with a whole bunch of other products [like i have to use a differen't product just to put the shadows and eyeliner on my eye] and i dont even use the foundation the way your supose to [ put a lil lotion/moisterizer and put some of the foundation on the top of my hand and i mix it. so i kinda have a liquid foundation] %26lt;but that still comes off :(( soo i was wondering if this stuff would do it too. It is nothing like Bare Minerals. The mineral makeup is excellent they have various colors to choose from so it depends the look you want. It lasts on me without using the primer about 8 hours or so no touch up needed now when I add the retexturizing primer then all my makeup is good for about 17 hours probably I would venture to say 24 hours because I have used it from work to rushing to a business dinner and had no time at all to touch up and I looked as if I had just put makeup on all I had to add was more lip gloss which I recommend their Liquid Metallics.
This product brand is WELL WORTH THE MONEY it has become my favorite that I have tossed all other products from my collection away and I am exclusively using bee luscious now. I have been using the products for almost 2 years now as well as my two teenage daughters and the skin care is to die for.Is Bee Luscious Cosmetics worth the money?
LOOOVE it. It will stay on all day. Not all minerals are created equal. This one breathes with your skin. Now it is not a full coverage for that you need (in minerals) a Stick Foundation. This will give you the coverage without the oils that are in the stuff like Cover Girl!

Bee-Luscious Cosmetics?
I have heard that this new cosmetic line is ';amazing'; and have only been able to find it online. Does anyone know of any stores that carry this makeup collection, or if I can someone how get free samples before purchasing their products? I have been using the line for 2 years now on my clients with great success. The look and feel is well worth getting, you will not be disappointed in anything you buy.

OMG! I LOVE BEE-LUSCIOUS! The Satin Veil and the Silk Radiance are awesome. You such a natural healthy glow from them. I also prefer the HD Mascara over the others. It is much more natural looking. I was actually looking for a great foundation today. I went to the bee luscious webpage and I was about to order the liquid foundation. I thought I should check the ingredients just to be safe and I noticed that this product has parabens. I can't order it now as much as I'd like to, as parabens have been linked to cancer. I'm going to skip it and try to find another brand.
The foundation is the bomb! I love the Silk Radiance and the HD Mascara. I'll give the papaya stuff a 9 1/2 because the directions are a little vague.
I also love the foundation! It is the best.
Although I haven't tried the Satin Veil or the Silk Radiance, I am sure that they are as good as the rest of their products.
I like the HD Mascara. I tried the BEE LUSHcious and it was too dramatic for me. It made my eye lashes too long and thick for my taste. The HD does stay on all day and it has never clumped or got flakey.

I applied the satin veil after my foundation and silk radiance then I dabbed it on my forehead,the apples of my cheeks and since it was low cut the I dabbed it on my bust area. I totally glowed all day and it never came off my pictures every single one was amazing all I could say was Thanks Bee Luscious.
I say go for it you will love the satin veil and the papaya line truly corrected my skin and has given me radiant clean and clear skin.

They did ship 4 of my orders to Germany when we were out their it was the postal service and it did take 3 weeks , then since I use so many products they said that any package 1-5 pounds in weight UPS was the same price. So I waited and placed an order for like 8 products and rec.it UPS in 5 days to Germany the cost was high but not that bad since it was literally a 10+ month supply I purchased. Either way I would call customer service and talk to them so they can give you the best options. I want to add their products are FABULOUS !!!! I've just received the Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation in shade porcelain and was really disappointed to find it's REALLY dark - much darker than the colour sample online. Do people generally find the colour samples aren't a true representation of the real shades??

I've just received the Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation in shade porcelain and was really disappointed to find it's REALLY dark - much darker than the colour sample online. Do people generally find the colour samples aren't a true representation of the real shades??

If I remember correctly, it's 14 days from date of purchase. This is what Laura from the Bee Royal website said when I asked about their return policy. Don't know if there is a restocking fee involved - I don't think so but don't quote me on it!

I have all my stuff hidden because I answer questions on politics and if you have never been over there you have NO idea how many trolls there are on politics. Also if you look most everyone that has spent much time on Y!A has their Q%26amp;A hidden because there are so many trolls. Look at this person, I feel because I write about Bee Luscious, she has tried to follow me around like the rest of the trolls. She didn't even state as to why she don't like it.

I totally love bee luscious I am not worried about the parabens because the research is still very weak in regards to truly the health risk with parabens. I would be more concerned with lead content and pigments that are lead based that is much worse. I do know that many powder mineral foundations have bismuth as well as talc's and many cheap fillers that clog pores and create many disturbances with your complexion. I have tried almost all the brands out there and bee luscious has truly worked the best and I would not worry so much about the parabens the amounts used in cosmetics is so small it really has no relevance,

Revlon's ColorStay Foundation in Cappaccino and Mahogany mixed together is what I wear now and I get so many compliments from the makeup artists at the MAC counter (they don't know that the foundation and powder used isn't there brand). Iman's Luxury pressed powder in Earth 2 and 3 is a great powder to use throughout the day to set your makeup. The color is fresh and blends so good with the makeup you already have on. Her eyeshadows are on point too. Loreal H.I.P foundations are great for women of color also. Sometimes you have to blend to find the color that you're needing for our complexion, but these are the ones that I've found that gets my makeup to look natural but nice.

OH my dear you've come to the right place i have eczema its a kind of skin condition that's leaves the skin feeling dry as well as looking spotted,it can also itching and blotches,welts,and redness,but mine is under control though i have experienced all of these,and the only that's ever worked for me is Vaseline mix with lotion it works!just a little bit of lotion combined with Librium and your problem will be solved trust me.my skin is like a sponge nothing else worked,some however dont like to use Vaseline b-cause it can be greasy but if you only use it at night it shouldn't matter,and lets face it when you've got dry skin,dealing with it is your main concern ,OH Ive tried the Vaseline intensive care lotion its just not the same mixing it yourself gives you the control and it just doesn't have enough Vaseline in it!PS.a friendI have extremely rough skin and i used almost a hundred cosmetics without results.i am of a black skin.?

I agree exfoliate. Buy a good scrubbing glove or brush for the shower. Soak feet and scrub with scrubbing stone. A good rough washcloth will rid you of unwanted skin too. Moisturize with a really good creamy body lotion...not the cheap kind...something very emolient.
If it's your face, a good peel and exfoliating is required. I use this great stuff you rub on and it rubs all the dead skin off...some Dead Sea product. Pricey but well worth it and MOISTURIZE. Talk to someone at a makeup counter...I prefer Clinique because it doesn't clog your pores.
The secret to nice skin is keep it clean and moisturized.
You should drink LOTS AND LOTS of water...that is another key to soft moist skin. Minimum 8 glasses a day.
Use Keri... that'll do the trick. It's a lotion.
Use vitamin E cream.

Why do cosmetic companies make more shades of white than black?
Regardless of what company makes the make-up, there's AT LEAST 15 shades of white. There's porcelin ivory, classic ivory, ivory, milk, vanilla, peach, beige, tan, olive, sierra, golden, bronze, toast and the list goes on. But when it comes to dark foundations, it's just Caramel or Cocoa. What's up with this? My skin color isn't cocoa, it's ebony and I have a HARD time finding my shade. The color Espresso by Bee-Luscious is very dark. It is too dark for most African-Americans. I think they have the most natural looking foundation on the market. You haven't seen the colors by Bee-Luscious. Their Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation has more dark colors to choose from. It is the best foundation I have used.

I saw an ad for it in Seventeen magazine. And I was just wondering is it any good? I'm not dark skinned nor light. I'm a browish almost caramel color. My face has some sort of two-toned color and sometimes I have to take a deep/mocha foundation and mix it with an honey or golden foundation to match my skin. But i'm not sure if Mark foundations, powers, etc would work for me. Personally I think MAC is the best! So henna will make your hair have red highlights in the sun , but not red hair.

There is a CACA NOIR (more blue-black) and there is a browm version too, it is like a reddish brown. MY mom has used them both and found the reddish brown worked pretty well, but it does fade fast. Also, once you use it, forget about using any drugstore haircolours like Nice and Easy, etc, because the colour will not even stick to it...so think twice before using any product and call Lush, they are quite helpful.

Why dont rural black women like cosmetics as much?
Ive noticed that since moving to a rural area that black women around here dont wear makeup. I thought maybe it was just the area i was in but ive been to many different states though out the country and i have noticed the same thing. Get to a city and 90%+ black women are wearing makeup but go to a rural area and they seem not to. I am black and when im going to walmart are ingles i get looks like you wouldn't believe im not wearing anything skanky im just wearing color or my eyes or im wearing pink lipstick. Its mainly from other black women and i get nasty remarks like ';girl why you got purple e/s on i dont have time for all that'; or ';you must be rich cuz i dont have money for all that e/s and liner and stuff'; funny but women from other ethnic groups around here can afford to wear makeup and they aren't rich. So why dont black women in rural areas wear makeup? why do they care if I do? Why dont black women in the city seem to have the same attitude towards cosmetics?

More so-called ';old fashioned'; cultures in America tend to avoid make-up for various reasons, the same way many devoutly religious folk will avoid spicy food for fear that it leads to lustfulness. Why dont rural black women like cosmetics as much?
There is more competition in the big smoke and its harder to meet someone nice - perhaps that is part of the reason
Perhaps the country women are busy taking care of families and settled in how they feel about their self esteem
Perhaps they do not have the money for cosmetics
Perhaps living in the country they do not feel the need to use cosmetics and prefer to leave their skin to breathe naturally
All good and valid reasons and they are probably healthier for it too
Perhaps in time to come you may find yourself relaxing more and doing the same as the rest of them

I'm white, but from my point of view, maybe they just cant afford it? Maybe there aren't good jobs around that pay well? I don't know, I could sit here and speculate all day, but I think if you like it and it looks cute on you, then don't worry about what everyone else thinks. Wear it!! Not everyone likes my makeup all the time, granted, I do wear it a bit dark. But it's what I like, and it looks good on me. They may just be jealous that you can wear certain colors that they can't.
It sounds like you like to use makeup as a personal expression which is cool for you. You came from a different environment where personal expression was more accepted. Now that you are in a rural area you are obviously standing out. So either lose the eyeshadow and lipstick and blend in with everyone else or keep expressing your individuality which is fine and lose the attitude. If someone says they don't have time for makeup tell them that once you get good at putting it on it doesn't take much time at all. If they ask you how you can afford it, tell them you know where to get a good deal and keep it within your budget.

Maybe they tried the old, grocery store make up years ago and it made their skin look ashy and different and they haven't went back to it because of that bad experience.

I don't know why...maybe they really can't afford it or they suck at putting it on. I have more than 120 different eyeshadows alone! ...120 came in a pallette I bought off ebay! Take a look! Why do you want to lighten your skin. If you have problems with your sick I recommend you start using skin care products like Artistry skin care. All my friends use it and that's how I heard about it and I'm using it too. I love it. It leaves my skin feel soft and moisturize all day. It also fights wrinkles isn't that cool.

You could try Deep Cleaning Strips to remove the blackheads, then start a strict cleansing, toning and moisturising regime.

Blackheads are very hard to remove and the cleansers etc only prevent them in the future. The best thing is to boil a kettle and pour the water into a medium sized bowl. The water should be steaming. If you have long hair, tye it back and wash your face with soap and warm water beforehand. The hold your face over the hot steam, which will open your pores and keep their for a while to clean them out. After about 10 minutes, dab ur face slighty with a towel then squeeze the blackheads out. As the pores are open they will come out really easily.
Try Oil Cleansing Method. It worked for me....I have oily skin and I used this method, it is easy and not expensive at all and it is all natural.
In my experience spending money for artificila beauty products that promise to heal pimples, blackheads never worked, only this method worked for me.

Obviously keep your skin as clean as you can, after that if you have tried all products, try toothpaste, can help, and if all else fails grow your nails and squeeze. take your time can make sure they are very clean before hand and clean the area immediately afterwards.
Biore has ';seep cleaning pore strips'; that literally rips them all out. I find that they work pretty well, although they're somewhat expensive.
i use rose water. its very good at getting rid of blackheads, you can just soak some cotton wool with the rose water and rub it all over your face. do this every night.
i would use some sort of facial scrub. also in bodyshop they actually do a black head remover 'tool'

Put in the exact ratio of 1:2:4, fuller's earth, glycerin soap, and almond powder in warm water to make a smooth paste. Now put it over your blackheads. Keep it for some time and then wash of.

I am a lightskinned black woman and I have a hard time finding cosmetics in drugstores that are the right skin tone. Either they are too light or too dark. There seems to be no in between. I can't afford the higher end products all the time(department stores) can anyone help?What are some good cosmetics for lightskinned blacks?
go to mac. it has the greatest range of shades and you can try it. that is the main problem with drugstore brands. i suggest mac since it is not too expensive, it works very well and has a the greatest range of colours and products.
here are some ways to save money:
use a wet sponge to apply your foundation. you will use less, gives good coverage (if you get a full coverage foundation), and give a very smooth and natural looking skin.
use a loose powder with a big face brush. it lasts forever...much longer than the compact and gives a great natural look.
buy drugstore lipsticks, eyeshadows, liners, etc.
i do suggest buying a good blush though as it has to match you and you should be able to try it on.
drug store lines i like:
l'oreal shadows have good pigment so what you see is generally what you get and it goes on well.
maybelline great lash and l'oreal voluminous.
rimmel is inexpensive and works well.
love the sonis kaschuk (think that is how you spell the last name) products at target. she has great brushes.
keep in mind that if you get stuff that looks great on you, you will not have to spend that much on make you will never use.

Have them write down the colors that they used on you. Then go to a drug store and look for colors similar to that. hey i had the same problem too...my mom is really light, her dad was french canadian so she has more of a yellow tone to her than black and my dad is black, so i came out with a reddish tone which sucks when it comes to applying make-up. i've tried SEVERAL different brands, but the one i like the best is the maybelline cream matte..it goes on really smooth. now since my color doesn't match any powder's i do have to use two i use covergirl matte powder's they're perfect. i use the lighter of the two first and then i use a brush stick to swipe on the darker color so my face is blended evenly and it matches my neck! i know it sounds like a process but since all the make-up people in this world are white, there is not help for us weird colored black girls..i hope this helps! :)
